Clarbeston Road AFC were the kings of the Pembrokeshire League this weekend, who showed their class in a 17-0 win over basement club Narberth, who remain without a point.

Jason Griffiths scored six of the home side’s goals, while Ben John netted four, Jake Booth got three and Steffan Williams scored twice. Joules Ward and Gregory Brown also saw their name on the scoresheet.

However, Clarby Road are still 20 points behind leaders Goodwick United, who claimed three points in a 4-1 victory at home against Monkton Swifts.

Daniel James opened the scoring before Jordan Griffiths doubled the home side’s lead on the half-hour mark, and Rhys Dalling put the game out of sight just two minutes later.

Paul Miller’s second-half consolation for Swifts did not matter, as Griffiths netted again for Goodwick’s fourth.

Swifts will be looking over their shoulder at in-form St Ishmaels, who climbed out of the relegation zone after a 1-0 win over Pennar Robins with Owen Lawrie’s first-minute strike.

Robins had a late penalty, which was missed by Connor Roberts, much to Tish’s relief.

Meanwhile Merlins Bridge remain in the top half of the table, despite giving away the lead three times away at Hundleton, who remain level on points with Bridge and on spot behind.

Matthew D’Ivry netted for Merlins Bridge shortly after the half-hour mark before Hundleton equalised through Jack Blunsden, and then Richard Hughes gave the away side a 2-1 half-time lead.

A penalty from Hundleton’s Billy Davies levelled the game within five minutes of the restart, but Merlins Bridge reclaimed the lead only seconds later through Ben Davies. Blunsden’s second of his brace ensured both teams went home with a point.

Adam Muskett’s hat-trick was the highlight of Carew’s 4-1 win away at Neyland, who now fill the final relegation spot.

Muskett opened the scoring before in the tenth minute, before Leon Barrett equalised for the home side.

Joseph Williams reclaimed the lead for Carew before half time, and Muskett got his hat-trick with two goals in three second-half minutes.
