The future of Pembrokeshire's three mobile libraries is to be reviewed.
The county Cabinet, which meets on Monday, will discuss the future of the service which is projected to cost £101,000 next year.
A report to cabinet members said that the fleet "is old and prone to regular breakdown".
It adds that the service has a small number of regular users - defined as those who have used the service at least four times in a 12 month period- working out at around 1% of the Pembrokeshire population.
Analysis of those users suggests that the vast majority are in communities with high levels of car ownership.
Council officers recommended a review of the mobile library service and that a report setting out recommendations be brought back before Cabinet members.
