'Be vigilant' message after spate of burglaries in Milford Haven

1:17pm Monday 16th December 2013

A SPIKE in the number of burglaries in Milford Haven has prompted police to urge householders to be extra vigilant.

Properties in the Rath Road area are being targeted during the evenings when occupants are out.

“There are similar elements to a number of the burglaries and our inquiries are ongoing to find those responsible” said Detective Inspector Richard Yelland.

“We are asking the local residents for their help in doing this. If you can be vigilant in your area, and report to us anything which you think is suspicious.

"It may be a person seen loitering somewhere, or a strange vehicle driving around your area. Please call us on 101 and report your concerns.

"You know your neighbourhoods and know when something is not right, so please get in touch.”

Dyfed Powys Police have commenced a targeted operation in the area to offer extra security .
