THE children of Coastlands CP School in St Ishmaels recently played to an audience of more than 250 people.
The production of Ali Baba involved all the children from the school, aged from just three years to 11.
The pantomime featured wizards, fairies, pizza dancers and citizens of Bagdad, and not forgetting the evil bunch of thieves and some very convincing camels.
The production was performed at the St Ishmaels Sports and Social Club over two nights, and the fantastic scenery and costumes were supplied by parents and volunteers of the school.
“It was really hard work but we all had a fabulous time and lots of local people from the community came along to watch, and enjoy the performance. I’m extremely proud of all the children who made it such a success and had so much fun.” said headteacher Paul Harries.
