Mr Lewis back in the limelight after his suspension. £8 million pounds seems a lot of money as this road has been like this for many years.
Can someone explain what road works are taking place atFinger post on the Pembroke Dock to Carew road.
whatever is happening there I suggest the "groundworks" are greater than IF theywere constructing the M4 there, I'm sure someone is being recompensed for ALL that extra work rather like the work off that road towards Pembroke !"

Work has started on the long-awaiting Bulford Road improvement scheme in Johnston.

The £8 million project – jointly funded by Pembrokeshire County Council and the Welsh Government (WEFO) - upgrades the busy single-track link road between Johnston and Tiers Cross.

It will also reduce the number of heavy lorries driving through Milford town centre.

The first sod was ceremoniously cut on Friday (6th June) by the County Council’s Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Transportation, Councillor Rob Lewis.

He said the upgrade was important for the health of the local economy.

The contractor is Alun Griffiths Limited and work will last around 12 months.
