A MAN was charged last night with three murders in the Suffolk village
of Bramford. Mr Jason Mitchell, 24, of no fixed address, is expected to
appear before Ipswich Magistrates Court today. Last night he was charged
with murdering his father, Mr Robert Mitchell, 55, of Bramford, whose
mutilated torso was discovered by police on Tuesday evening.
He is also charged with the murders of pensioners Arthur and Shirley
Wilson, of Bramford. The couple were found strangled in their bungalow
on December 14. A post-mortem examination on Mr Mitchell, a father of
five who lived alone, showed he had been strangled before being
dismembered. Detectives found the body when they called at his
semi-detached house.
