GIVEN the go-ahead to convert Edinburgh's Roxburghe Hotel into

offices, Murray International Group plans the complete restoration of a

series of Georgian town houses with entry from Charlotte Square.

The group's chairman David Murray described approval for the plans as

vindicating their desire to revitalise the square, as the primary

central business location in the city.

Taking in the former hotel and adjacent town houses, the new building

will combine modern open-plan space at the rear. The scheme will retain

an upgraded restaurant and wine bar.
