St Ishmaels 7 Tenby 0 TITLE-CHASING St Ishmaels handed out a harsh lesson to a Tenby side that has begun to concede lots of goals recently.

Facing Marc Devonald's high-flying outfit is difficult enough on any day but with a weakened team Tenby were never at the races.

The visitors found themselves a goal down within two minutes as Tish put their foot straight on the gas and kept it there for the 90 minutes.

Adam Davies took control, rolling away from a challenge and slotting past Tenby's very busy keeper Lewis Hurlow.

Tish showed why they have become one of the first division's most impressive sides with a well-worked second goal that was rounded off by Stefan Harteveld's fine header.

Tenby's defence were all at sea throughout the contest and Tish were ruthless in their finishing, adding another two goals before the break.

Paul Palmer got in on the act before Davies added his second.

The second half continued in the same vane and Davies rounded off a fine hat-trick with a low drive across Hurlow and into the far corner.

Ashley Findlay came off the bench to get in on the act as he ghosted through the covering defence and beat Hurlow at the second attempt. There was still time for Davies to bag his fourth and his side's seventh and Tish stay right in the title hunt.

Tenby meanwhile will be concerned after losing several games on the bounce.
