IN A recent letter, Joy Ross, Pembroke Dock, stated that in some places people are fined £75 for dropping a cigarette butt in public.
Well if that was the case in Pembrokeshire someone from the council should stand outside Withybush Hospital entrance and fine the butt droppers there – they would make an absolute fortune.
There are literally hundreds of discarded butts lying about the place – there are cigarette butts everywhere.
Next time anybody visits Withybush Hospital, have a look around the entrance and see what you think. It is an absolute disgrace that smokers see fit to drop their butts at the entrance to the hospital - they should be ashamed.
Why can’t you smokers put your butts in a bin?
Please Withybush Hospital, get somebody to clean up the entrance.
