Here we go again

WHY are we paying up to seven pence more for a litre of diesel when it is cheaper to produce diesel than petrol and we live in close proximity to oil refineries?

Who is being greedy? Is it the producer or the retailer or is it yet another hidden eco/’green’ tax?
