ONE man was taken into custody by police following an incident that closed an alley off Bridge Street in Haverfordwest on Wednesday afternoon.
There was a large police presence in the centre of the town at both ends of Hole in the Wall, the alley where the Funky Den shop is based.
The alley was closed off for around two hours but Bridge Street, one of the town’s main shopping areas, remained open throughout.
Officers, including armed response unit police and dog handlers were also at the scene.
Aman could be seen hanging out of a window at the Bridge Street end of the alley talking to police.
At about 1.40pm the incident ended peacefully with an arrest.
Earlier this year the whole of Bridge Street was closed for more than 24 hours after a siege in the same area.
