THERE was an excellent turn out last Tuesday for Seniors Captains Day at Rosemarket Golf Club.

The men's competition winner was Clive Richards with 40pts, runner-up Rob Evans 38pts, third Nigel Hadfield 37pts. Women's winner was Rose Taylor with 28pts, runner-up Sue Bradford 26pts, third Sarah Browning 24pts. Junior winners, off yellow tees was Tom Brown 44pts, runner-up Alex Young 34pts, third Luke Young 32pts.  Blue tees winner was Michael Strand 41pts and red tees winner was Amber Deakin 36pts. Longest drives winners were Bob Taylor and Sue Bradford. Junior Tom Brown won longest drive and nearest the pin. Twos winner was Dai Goodridge.  

Thanks to main sponsors Davis and Davis Joinery of Johnson who sponsored the men's competition and Jefferson the Jewellers of Milford Haven who sponsored the women's competition.

 The Dyfed League team played their last match at Cwmrhydneuadd and earned a creditable draw. Top Tiger for 2013 was John C Davies with seven wins.

On Sunday, it was the annual Captains and Past Captains versus the rest of the club contest. Best score were Chris Llewellyn with 37pts, Mark McCormack 35pts, John McLean 34pts and Kelvin Townsend 34pts. Final score was a win for the rest of the club 166pts to 156pts.  

Junior results blue tees winner Murphy Banner 47pts, runner-up Michael Strand 40pts. Yellow tees winner Alex Young 42pts, runner-up Luke Young 31pts. Red tees winner Amber Deakin 31pts.

Women's Friday nine- hole stableford results first Amber Deakin 18pts, runner-up, Pat Gerson 15pts, third Sarah Browning 12pts, fourth Marilyn Rawlings 12pts, fifth Rose Taylor 11pts.
