After a long season a group of junior Harriers travelled to Wrexham to compete at the Welsh Junior Championships, writes Amy Leahy.

Ella Wintle led the way with a very impressive triple gold. Wintle dominated the sprint events claiming gold in the 100m, 200m and 70m hurdles.

Lucy Wintle also won bronze in the same race as older sister Ella, competing a year young in her age group.

Medals were not just reserved for the Wintles though, Jamie Zygadlo and Michael Jenkins each collected two medals.

Zygadlo attaining two silvers in high jump and javelin, whilst Jenkins won the shot and gained silver in the discus.

Joseph Reynolds also became Welsh Champion, dominating the 200m and also collecting the silver in the 300m.

Chloe Fox, Dylan Phillips, and Will Lloyd all achieved silver medals in the shot, high jump and 400m hurdles respectively.

Tegan Foley also added to the medal tally with a bronze in the Under 20 Women’s 400m.
